Hey my name is Camilo as you know. I am Dominican but I have been in the US for 16 years. I am like any guy my age...I love to go out with my boys and of course I like the ladies. If you are what I want I will tell you... if you arent...sorry but you will hear the truth. I have experienced things in life most guys my age havent. I was in a popular Dominican group called Romance that had cross over success in the US. So yes, ladies, I have been onstage and I love the attention. Did I mention that I can dance? For my live television show, I have decided to promote different venues in the city that make up Boston's night life. In my show, I will also spotlight to up-and-coming musical artists who deserve an outlet to showcase their talent. My show will be called "What's Hot on the Weekend!" Boston has so many interesting places to go to at night and I notice that people rarely explore all of their options. They usually pick one spot and stick with it. For example, I know everyone who works at Mojito's so it is easy for me to go there every weekend because I'm comfortable and well-liked there. I also know it is important to take chances and get out of my comfort zone so I don't miss out on different life experiences.
If Maybe I know how other night clubs were I would be excited and motivated about leaving the place that I'm most comfortable in. On "What's Hot on the Weekend", my staff and I go out to various night spots and interview people that act as the faces for each of these places: the managers, the servers, the bouncers, and the bartenders, just to name a few. Besides the interview, my staff and I will give a guided tour of each venue to familiarize my viewers with each night spot. Therefore, these venues will happily cooperate with me because I provide free publicity for their businesses. The added exposure will attract a more a diverse clientele. In terms of the diverse clientele, some people prefer to throw their own parties and may have in mind a special occasion for which to throw a party like a birthday, wedding, or sweet fifteen. In that case, they’ll need entertainment. Just as I did with the businesses, I will collaborate with musical artists to form a relationship which is mutually beneficial. The musical artist will liven up my show by performing. In return, I give him free exposure, thereby increasing his visibility and possibly expand his or her fan base. For my first show, I will be featuring the Latin-international dance club Mojitos. The manager and two other staff members will be interviewed by my main host Kalidia Reyes. The main musical guests will be Reggaeton artists Apoka & Pimpchito. All background music will be provided by JROC, a local disc jockey who specializes in spinning Reggae, Reggaeton, and other forms of Latin music. Although anyone can watch because it is an audience friendly show, I am specifically targeting viewers between the ages 18-35. This particular demographic usually does not have as many family obligations. Therefore, they are more like to benefit from the information that my show provides because they have more active social lives.
